Ciuffo Cabinetry is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our in-house engineering team. This position entails working closely with our design, drafting, and production departments to translate shop drawings into efficient, machine-ready files for our CNC routers.

*Please note: This is a full-time, in-house position based in Bayport, NY. Remote work is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural and shop drawings (AutoCAD, hand-drawn, or 3D models).

• Use iX, AutoCAD, and EnRoute to generate CNC programs and tool paths.

• Process cabinet and millwork models for CNC cutting using CAM software.

• Maintain accuracy and alignment between design models and CNC output.

• Collaborate daily with:

  • Drafters and designers

  • Shop Foreman and Machine Operators

  • Executive and production management teams

• Support or assist with occasional drafting tasks (if skilled in AutoCAD/iX).

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in millwork, cabinetry, or CNC-based manufacturing

• AutoCAD proficiency (essential)

• Exposure to CAM software (iX, EnRoute, Cut Rite, WoodWOP, etc.) 

• Excellent attention to detail and file accuracy

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to troubleshoot CNC and toolpath issues with the shop floor

• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work full-time (start time between 7:00–8:00 AM)

• Some Saturday availability may be required
