
DESIGNER
Ciuffo Cabinetry is seeking a full-time Designer to join our team of professionals. This role is ideal for an experienced designer with a degree in Architecture and/or Design, a strong background in custom millwork, and the ability to manage multiple high-end residential projects. Designers at Ciuffo Cabinetry are responsible for leading projects from concept through installation, collaborating with clients, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring precision in execution. This position offers significant potential for growth and expanded responsibilities within our organization.
Key Responsibilities

Draft and design custom kitchens and architectural millwork in 2D and 3D.

Communicate regularly with clients, partners, and vendors via calls and emails.

Attend client meetings both in-office and on-site.

Order, track, and manage delivery of samples.

Maintain detailed and organized project documentation and correspondence.

Assist clients with creative design decisions, including finish selections, hardware, cabinetry style, space planning, and organizational solutions.

Oversee assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met and communication is maintained.

Collaborate with the Shop Team for production and with the Installation Team during on-site execution.

Complete all project-related paperwork as required.
Qualifications

Degree in Architecture and/or Design.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in custom millwork and kitchen drafting.

Minimum 5 years’ proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modeling; Inventor and/or Revit experience is a plus.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in creative millwork design.

Familiarity with high-end/custom residential projects strongly preferred.

Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.

Strong time management, ability to multitask, and a self-starter mindset.

Exceptional eye for detail and design.

Ability to start work daily between 7:00–8:00 AM and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

Completion of a 6-week in-house training program on construction methodology and proprietary software (3D drawings, renderings, shop drawings, and presentations).
